A full video URL contains the username and video ID, such as https://www.tiktok.com/@username/video/123456789. The tool uses that video ID when preparing TikTok embed HTML.

Short vm.tiktok.com links can still be formatted as video links, HTML anchors, Markdown links and QR codes. However, the tool cannot extract the video ID directly from an unresolved short URL, so a full TikTok video URL is required for the embed markup.

How to Create a TikTok Hashtag Link

  1. Open the Hashtag tab.
  2. Enter the hashtag with or without the # symbol.
  3. Choose or edit the link text.
  4. Select Generate Hashtag Links.

For example, entering BookTok produces https://www.tiktok.com/tag/BookTok. This opens the corresponding hashtag page rather than generating or recommending new hashtags.
